Some say "why not wait until the technology gets better?" We at Academy Solar are always evaluating technologies for you! We test dozens of new panels each year. We test new inverters, racking systems, and new technologies to use solar power to do more for your home!

Solar Panel prices have been reduced significantly over the last few years because of the burst in manufacturing brought on by governments encouraging development of Green Technologies.

We believe that manufacturers have taken most of the cost improvements out of panels in the last 5 years as prices have come down about 40%. And the new microinverters have significantly increased the Solar Installation efficiency by transmitting energy as AC current, by making the system effectively a parallel system rather than series (each panel produces and delivers the maximum power possible), and allows monitoring of each individual panel at all times!
