Incentives to Reduce Costs

The Federal and State government want to help you install Clean Solar Energy.

The Federal government even offers you a tax credit of 30% of the install price as a tax credit to encourage you to install Clean Solar Energy for your home. So you can let a major portion of the taxes you were going to pay, help pay to reduce your future energy costs and help save the Planet at the same time.

  1. North Carolina and other states also offer incentives in the form of Tax Credits to further reduce your costs.
  2. North Carolina offers you a 35% of Solar install costs as a state income tax credit.
  3. Between the Federal and State incentives you may be able to reduce your costs of installing your Clean Solar Energy system by more than 50%!
  4. And local electric utilities and NC Greenpower will buy credits from you to further reduce your total costs. These SRECs incentives are between $ .12 and $ .18 cents per kilowatt hour per year paid quarterly for a definite period of time (currently 5 years but expected to be extended.)

So your Clean Solar energy system costs are much lower than you thought and help save energy for your home for 25 years! Learn More from our Solar Calculator about the costs and Incentives.
